Ergonomic Pen Review

Hi guys. So I got the opportunity to review this pen that is out.
It is a  Ergonomic Pen  better known as the UGLee pen. Okay so I know what you are thinking why the UGLee pen well the name is an anagram of the Ultimate  Grip PEN By: Dr. James LEE. The pen comes in red, pink, white, yellow, green, blue, and gray barrels. You can get a three pack for $19.99 plus tax & shipping and handling. You can also order ink refills in red, blue, or black they are a 10 pack for $15.00 plus tax and a $2.99 shipping and handling charge.
The pens came by mail and I received them in about 5 days of shipment. I received three pens in yellow colored barrel that have blue ink. To be honest my first thought upon seeing the pens was that there was no way these things where gonna help ease the pain when I write but I was happily proven wrong. I am a full time student and the easiest way for me to learn is to read through the text highlight anything that i believe to be important, then go through and write all the highlighted passages on to paper to put inside my folders. I take mostly online classes so this is not necessary for my classes but I find I learn better this way. Normally through a couple pages my hand is cramping and I have to stop and take a break. Using these UGLee pens I found that was not  the case. I could go several chapters without having any discomfort or pain. Let me also point this out I have been told by family, friends, and teachers alike that I grip my pens and pencils very weird and that obviously causes me more discomfort with most pens.
I also had my fiance try them out who is an employ at walmart and does a lot of writing and actually stole the pen I gave him. Upon telling my grandfather about the pens who is a well driller and does a lot of writing as well he asked to borrow one and soon fell in love with it refusing to return  it. So I am now down to one pen left and will be making a purchase of these pens very soon because me and my daughter (who is five by the way) are constantly fighting over the remaining pen. All in all I would most defiantly recommend this product for anyone who writes a lot, has a child who is trying to become comfortable with using pens, or anyone who just wants a comfortable pen to write with.
You can contact Dr. Lee via the website, facebook, or twitter.

Hidden Under Her Heart By: Rachelle Ayala

Hey guys,
So recently I became a member on tomoson.com and I got this amazing opportunity to review this a book.

"Hidden Under Her Heart" By: Rachelle Ayala is a story about a women going through something terrible with amazing bravery.  Maryanne Torres is an allergy nurse who falls for a patient Lucas Knight. Lucas is worried about his training and does not want anything to serious when it comes to a relationship but finds himself falling for Maryanne as well. After a fight Maryanne rebels and goes to a party with the pastor's son. At the party Maryanne is drugged, raped, and becomes pregnant. With the pregnancy comes the decison wether or not to terminate the pregnancy, continue with the pregnancy and give the baby up for adoption, or to keep her rappest child. Lucas is prolife and wants to keep the baby even though the child is not his. Maryanne finds out why Lucas is so addement about keeping the baby and has to make a decision. Will Maryanne keep the baby? Will Lucas and Maryanne be able to make a relationship work through everything that has happened?
"Hidden Under Her Heart" is well written. The emotion and love between Maryanne and Lucas through the whole ordeal is amazing. I could feel everything as if I was there with Maryanne and Lucas making the decisions and going through everything with them. This book was worth reading and was so hard to put down. I am so sad that it ended but I would definitely recommend to anyone who wants a good book about the choices women have to go through and the struggle of making some of those choices when true love is on the opposite side. I would not recommend this book however if anyone has a serious objection to abortion.
You can find "Hidden Under Her Heart" at Amazon, Barnes & Nobel, Goodreads, and Smashword.
At Barnes & Nobel the paperback copy is $9.99 and Nook book for $0.99.
At Smashword the ebook is $0.99.
You can also find the information on the book at Goodreads.
You can contact Rachelle at her blog or her facebook page.

Thanks for reading Knikki.

Greatful to be alive

Wow today has been extremely out of control. My mother-in-law came over and brought my sister and niece with her. Most of my family are smokers as is my fiance so we keep an ashtray outside so there are no buts on my yard. My mother-in-law went out to smoke and instead of putting her cigarette out before putting it in the ash try full of buts she tossed it straight in and came inside. We were watching a movie and I started smelling smoke and thought that it was possibly a candle I had burning or maybe I had left the stove on after cooking breakfast. After checking the stove I turned around to walk out of the kitchen and saw the side of my house on fire. We managed to get all three kids out of the house and the fire department on the phone. I ran back inside to start filling containers full of water so I could try to put the fire out before my entire home engulfed in flames. As I was running out with the water the kids started running straight back inside. Mind you my porch was on fire right next to the door so we had three children (ages 1 to 3 years) running right by fire. We managed to get them back outside and into my mother-in-laws car so we could keep them away from the flames. After getting the fire put out on the side of my house and the porch put out, we noticed that there was a pipe on fire under the house. We got the fire put out and then the fire department arrived moments later. We got the fire put out before it could get into the walls or the roof. The damage is minimal thank the Lord and everyone is fine a little shaken up but fine. Thank you Lord for protecting my family and our home.

My Health Problems

Hi, everyone. Okay one of the things that I have been struggling with here lately is that I have ovarian cysts. Back at the beginning of March I was in quite a bit of pain so I called an ambulance and was taken to Orange Park Hospital. When I got there I was taken to their fast track center because the hospital felt that it was no big deal. The doctor did no test what so ever and told me that I probably sprang my back. I knew this was untrue, I just had this gut feeling that there was something severely wrong with me. I got home and got my kids ready ( who where at my house with my 17 year old little sister) to go to my grandparents so I could go to St. Vincents Hospital (which in my opinion is the best hospital around) to get rechecked. When getting there and explaining to the doctor what my symptoms where he felt that there was something seriously wrong and started running test. I had blood work done, xrays, a urine panel, and several different kinds of ultrasounds done. After reviewing all of the results I was diagnosed with gallbladder disease, a cyst on my right ovary, elevated liver levels, and a urinary track infection. I was sent home on all kinds of medications, referrals to some doctors to handle my problems, and was told to return to the hospital in two days to have my liver levels checked again to see if they changed any. So two days later I returned to the hospital to have the test ran again and it turned out that my levels had grew even higher so I was admitted to the hospital for observation at first. The first day out of five I was in there nothing really happened but I had some more blood work done and a cat scan done. The second day I had an MRCP I believe is what it was called but I was put to sleep and had a tube inserted down my throat to see if any gallstones where stuck anywhere to see if that was why my liver levels where elevated. The doctor found a couple stuck causing my liver to become irritated and produce more chemicals. When trying to get the stones loose they had to cut a slit into my bile duct, when this was done I started to bleed very badly after finally getting that under control the doctor was unsure whether or not he had touched my pancreas. So he inserted a stint to try to prevent pancreatic which can be deadly. Two days later I had my gallbladder surgery and that went fine. Two weeks after getting released I had to be scheduled to have the stint removed which also went fine. I also scheduled an appointment with my regular doctor to talk about my cyst. I was scheduled for another ultrasound in two weeks. But I was told that there was probably nothing to worry about that most women get some before having a menstrual period which I thought did not apply to me because my birth control causes me not to have one anymore and I also did research and it is not a side effect of my birth control either, but if it was still there we would try using medication to dissolve the cyst.  I went in to have my ultrasound and found out that there was several others on my right ovary and also some on my left ovary. I talked to the people who did the ultrasound and was told that even though they could not give me medical advise on this topic that the medication probably not work because of the amount and size of some of them. And that I probably need to ask my doctor to have my blood tested for the protein that shows cancer because of the speed at which they are spreading.I have to make my doctors appointment next week to go in and have the doctor let me know what the plain of action here is and to also talk about some headaches I have been having lately. So know I am worried sick because of not knowing what is going on inside my body and also knowing the possibilities of what it might be.

Welcome To My Blog

Hi, everyone. My name is Knikki pronounced Niki. I have two little girls Natalie who was born on May 31st, 2011 and Michelle who was born November 26th, 2007. I am a full time mommy and student. I am currently studying for a dual degree my Associates in Science for nursing and my Associates in Art. I love my life and I love my family. I am planning a wedding to the love of my life. We have been together since July 12th, 2010. I am starting this blog because I have been having trouble getting my feeling, emotions, and thoughts across. I have always had trouble expressing myself to people and talking about my problems but here lately they have been getting harder and harder to deal with myself so I thought if I tried writing about my problems every time they came up it would not be as hard to deal with. I have tried talking to my fiance about them but sometimes he gets upset at some of the things I worry about so I can't really talk about it with him. I am having some health problems but I will get back to that at another time.So welcome to my blog I hope you enjoy it and thank you for stopping by.
Thanks for reading, Knikki.
